Our Story

We are Karen and Vaughn Taylor, and Green Valley Gathering Place is our home. Welcome!

Rich in beauty, memories, and history, the land that has been transformed into our one of a kind event venue once belonged to Bob Evans as part of his personal holdings.

We purchased the property in 2007, then built our house in 2009. In 2012, we brought our vision of a premier wedding and event venue to life. With each passing year, we continue to work toward enhancing the natural beauty and tranquility of Green Valley Gathering Place—making it the perfect location for all types of special events and weddings.

We are proud to offer a variety of amenities, including a beautiful building featuring a 40’x60′ great room and 16′ ceiling, heating and air conditioning with a 190 person capacity, 40’x40′ landscaped patio area with a timber frame covering, gorgeous 30′ gazebo situated on a concrete pad from one of Bob Evans’ original grain bins, a 3.5 acre pond with a 1.5 acre peninsula, and a two acre meadow—all of which are available to rent.
